Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in penetration testing or a related cybersecurity role.
- Expertise in network penetration testing, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security testing in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- In-depth knowledge of web application penetration testing (OWASP Top 10) and secure coding practices.
- Strong proficiency in API security testing (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
- Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, and Kali Linux.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for test automation.
- Understanding of secure development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating findings to stakeholders.
- Experience with Red-Team and Purple-Team engagements is a plus.
- Certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, or CRTP are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform offensive security assessments on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), web applications, and APIs.
- Conduct traditional network penetration testing including protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Develop assessment documentation and formalize results for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to initiatives involving FedRAMP, CMMC, and PCI SSF compliance.
- Think like an attacker to identify complex attack chains and security vulnerabilities.
- Develop the firm's penetration testing service line from the ground up.
- Mentor team members and eventually build a team around you.
