Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial operations, with a focus on cryptocurrency or stablecoin operations.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing digital asset custody solutions, specifically Fireblocks, including policy configuration and operational workflows.
- Strong understanding of fiat currency transfer protocols and banking operations.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with banking partners.
- Experience in overseeing complex, automated systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a small team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex processes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with custody operations and compliance frameworks is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful execution of stablecoin operational initiatives, aligning with the broader Custody Division's strategic goals and objectives.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support scalability.
- Oversee the daily operational activities of stablecoin minting and redemption processes, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency.
- Coordinate and execute fiat transfers with banking partners, including reserve management and reconciliation.
- Manage and configure Fireblocks for secure and efficient stablecoin operations, including enforcing and maintaining governance rules and policies.
- Oversee and ensure the implementation of advanced risk management and compliance strategies.
- Collaborate and manage relationships with internal Custody teams, Legal, and Compliance, external banking partners, and other stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team member, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
