Requirements
- 5+ years of proven track record in research delivery, project and/or programme management.
- Experience with ownership of large, multi-region or multi-stakeholder programmes.
- History of successful stakeholder engagement and commercial discussions with senior clients.
- Strong experience in risk and issue management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Experience mentoring or line-managing project/programme management staff.
- Experience with budget ownership, forecasting, and commercial analysis.
- Experience in healthcare, clinical trials, or research.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage complex projects across functions.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical trials and regulations (preferred).
- Certification in project management such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead the scoping, evaluation, and commercial shaping of sub-studies and partner with the commercial team during proposal and contracting stages.
- Manage execution of sub-studies, including sponsor relations, contract renewals, and expansions.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to plan, track, and report on programme progress and milestones.
- Own programme-level budget accountability, including forecasting, margin awareness, and commercial risk identification.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, acting as the escalation point for programme-level issues.
- Build and manage senior-level external client relationships and lead sponsor-facing governance.
- Collaborate with technical product and engineering teams to identify solutions and shape the technology roadmap.
- Oversee internal reporting and represent the programme function in cross-functional forums.
- Mentor and support the development of more junior team members.
