Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JDBC, JPA, and Spring Security.
- Solid knowledge of Java EE technologies, including Servlets, JSTL, JSP, and JDBC.
- Experience writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services.
- Frontend development experience with React and/or Angular frameworks.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, and SASS.
- Experience integrating and working with third-party APIs.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID, and Okta.
- Experience using cloud-based version control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted or agentic AI development approaches.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment across different time zones.
- Self-motivated mindset with a passion for learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance platform features, integrations, and software solutions.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions across the product lifecycle.
- Build and maintain backend services with focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop and optimize database solutions, including queries, procedures, functions, and data access layers.
- Create and maintain APIs, integrations, and application components using modern development practices.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to engineering quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues across development and production environments.
- Manage technical debt while balancing feature delivery, customer needs, and long-term product improvements.
- Take ownership of complex technical challenges and approach problem-solving with structured analysis.
- Support team delivery by collaborating with engineers, product stakeholders, and other technical teams.
- Apply AI-powered development tools and agent-based technologies to improve engineering productivity.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, architecture, and best practices.
