Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise-level applications.
- Proven experience leading software development teams and mentoring engineers.
- Strong proficiency in React, Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and REST API development.
- Experience designing and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Working knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Active Security+ certification required.
- Strong understanding of secure software development and system integration.
- Experience leading agile development teams and managing technical backlogs.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience working with Army, Department of Defense, or government environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile applications, RFID integrations, or barcode scanners is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable and secure software architectures while mentoring team members.
- Lead hands-on development of modern applications using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain secure cloud-based applications and APIs on Microsoft Azure.
- Integrate software with RFID technologies, handheld scanners, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with defense stakeholders to validate solutions and deliver mission-critical capabilities.
- Design systems addressing cybersecurity, performance, and interoperability.
- Manage technical backlogs and support agile delivery processes.
- Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.
