Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations and/or processing.
- Proficiency with Encompass and Blend loan software.
- Experience with Google Suite tools.
- Understanding of TRID compliance and condo approval requirements.
- Proven track record of working 100% remote in a distributed team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret and apply internal company guidelines.
- Process-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, tech-enabled startup environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform essential physical functions including operating a computer and communicating via telephone or internet video.
Responsibilities
- Support the customer journey from application through to funding.
- Gather and organize required documentation to submit loan files for processing and underwriting.
- Obtain Initial Closing Disclosure signatures to ensure on-time closings.
- Manage a pipeline of 50-60 loan closings per month.
- Issue initial disclosures and revised Loan Estimates within 24-48 hours per TRID compliance.
- Complete Patriot Act verification based on customer ID.
- Review and process condo approval documentation.
- Assist team members and internal stakeholders with borrower requests.
- Utilize internal guides, job aids, and scripts to perform tasks autonomously.
