Requirements

  • Associate degree with 3-5 years of customer service experience OR GED/High School Diploma with equivalent experience in design, sales, job shop, machining, or web handling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in standard Windows-based applications.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong mathematical skills (discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, basic algebra, and geometry).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Epicor ERP system is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support management of customer relationships through direct communication via phone, email, letter, and fax.
  • Establish and maintain accurate customer records and contact information.
  • Process product quote inquiries and sales orders from customer purchase orders.
  • Expedite and communicate status inquiries for quotes and orders.
  • Support after-sales inquiries regarding parts, service, repairs, warranty, policy, and commercial issues.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Product Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain company objectives.
