- Proven experience in live social media coverage and high-impact, rapid-turn content creation.
- Strong editorial instinct regarding cultural momentum and narrative arcs.
- Deep knowledge of sports including NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, and college sports.
- Deep understanding of social media platform organic best practices (X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads).
- Strong understanding of internet culture, humor, and social-first formats.
- Proficiency in creative tools: Figma, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong organizational skills for managing a fast-paced content pipeline.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead Gametime social strategy and content ideation around major leagues like NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, UFC, and college sports.
- Own live, reactionary social coverage by creating and publishing content for X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook.
- Assist with community engagement to build and maintain relationships with users.
- Monitor social media trends and cultural conversations to keep the brand at the industry forefront.
- Maintain an always-on approach to track relevant storylines and inform team planning.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns and tentpole event planning.
- Conduct performance reporting to measure success and inform future strategies.
- Participate in cross-functional strategy, ideation, and reporting sessions.
