Requirements
- 5+ years of professional development experience
- Strong software engineering experience building production web applications
- Deep fluency in Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, and modern build tooling (e.g., Turborepo, Rspack)
- Experience collaborating with product design to build Design Systems that include tokens, theming, cross-platform consistency, documentation for human and AI consumers
- Experience designing front-end architecture, shared components, and maintainable application patterns
- Strong fluency with AI-assisted software delivery and clear judgment about AI application
- Practical understanding of AI-native workflows including context, iterative loops, and review practices
- Strong quality mindset across testing, accessibility, performance, telemetry, and production ownership
- Strong communication and a high-ownership approach to technical execution
- Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team gatherings
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend platform, component library and web applications using modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Build reusable UI patterns, design tokens, components, and evangelize engineering guidance
- Build and maintain a frontend platform that is machine-readable and API-first to serve AI agents alongside human users, with awareness of emerging commerce protocols
- Apply AI effectively throughout the software development lifecycle, including implementation planning, coding, review, testing, and quality improvement
- Partner with product, design, and engineering peers to turn ambiguous requirements into well-scoped, high-quality deliveries
- Own quality through testing, accessibility, observability, performance, and safe rollout practices
