Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining production software.
  • Strong proficiency in software development using modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java, Go, Python, Ruby, Rust, or similar.
  • Deep knowledge of frontend architecture, including React internals, server-side rendering, and browser technologies.
  • Proven experience modernizing large, multi-team frontend codebases and leading complex technical migrations.
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals and interaction latency.
  • Experience establishing frontend standards, shared component libraries, design systems, or developer tooling.
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility principles, browser APIs, CSS, and scalable frontend development practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence engineers, product leaders, and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, drive alignment, and create clarity in ambiguous technical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical strategy for frontend web platform capabilities, including architecture, performance, accessibility, consistency, and availability.
  • Lead complex cross-team initiatives, migrations, and platform improvements while minimizing disruption to ongoing product development.
  • Design and promote scalable frontend patterns, standards, and reusable solutions that enable engineering teams to move faster.
  • Create architecture proposals, evaluate technical trade-offs, and build alignment across engineering, product, and design stakeholders.
  • Improve frontend systems through data-driven approaches focused on performance metrics, reliability, and user experience.
  • Mentor engineers across teams through technical guidance, design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Advocate for frontend platform priorities with leadership and help secure the resources needed to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical leaders and product partners to define future platform direction and deliver measurable outcomes.
