Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Python.
- Hands-on experience writing automated tests using Pytest and Playwright.
- Understanding of QA methodology, including test design techniques, writing test cases, bug reporting, and defining test scope.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows (installation, configuration, command-line, troubleshooting).
- Understanding of virtualization systems (VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox).
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and RESTful web services.
- Experience with Git and branching workflows (GitFlow).
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (nice to have).
- Experience debugging and tracing software (nice to have).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins (nice to have).
- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools like Jira or TestMo (nice to have).
- Knowledge of storage, data protection, or backup concepts (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Analyse functionality and prepare test cases for initial manual tests, subsequently converting them to automated tests.
- Help analyse new or existing feature requests and plan QA activities.
- Execute manual and automated tests, addressing edge cases.
- Prepare technical and user documentation.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to integrate code into a common solution.
- Identify and address the root cause of issues from definition to completion.
- Design new features and identify improvements for architecture and code refactoring.
- Research and implement open-source frameworks and architectures.
