Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as pre-sales, solutions engineering, professional services, or technical support.
  • Hands-on enterprise development experience with Java and/or C/C++.
  • Strong Linux background including understanding of enterprise repo hierarchy and distribution differences.
  • Experience with open source software adoption and support.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Proficiency with containerization and virtualization at scale.
  • Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong communication and demonstration skills, including experience authoring technical proposals or RFP responses.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and demos through POC trials and proposal support.
  • Conduct deep discovery to understand customer architecture, workflows, and business objectives.
  • Design and deliver compelling technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Serve as the internal customer champion by collaborating with Product, Marketing, Support, and Professional Services teams.
  • Evaluate customer environments to provide architectural guidance on solution fit, implementation, risk, and compliance.
  • Contribute to the broader technical community through conference sessions, webinars, blog posts, and open source engagement.
  • Support lead generation and pipeline development including trade show participation.
