Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as pre-sales, solutions engineering, professional services, or technical support.
- Hands-on enterprise development experience with Java and/or C/C++.
- Strong Linux background including understanding of enterprise repo hierarchy and distribution differences.
- Experience with open source software adoption and support.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Proficiency with containerization and virtualization at scale.
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong communication and demonstration skills, including experience authoring technical proposals or RFP responses.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and demos through POC trials and proposal support.
- Conduct deep discovery to understand customer architecture, workflows, and business objectives.
- Design and deliver compelling technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Serve as the internal customer champion by collaborating with Product, Marketing, Support, and Professional Services teams.
- Evaluate customer environments to provide architectural guidance on solution fit, implementation, risk, and compliance.
- Contribute to the broader technical community through conference sessions, webinars, blog posts, and open source engagement.
- Support lead generation and pipeline development including trade show participation.
