Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Quality Engineer, QA Automation Engineer or Software Test Engineer.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Experience working within Agile software development teams.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the complete testing lifecycle.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience using Git and GitLab.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-first mindset.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale software systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.
- Develop test strategies and test plans for complex enterprise applications.
- Perform Unit, Component, Integration, System, End-to-End and Non-Functional testing.
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and risk-based testing approaches.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left testing practices.
- Execute functional, regression, performance and security testing activities.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT).
- Create and maintain test data, documentation and quality artefacts.
- Work closely with Software Engineers through collaborative development and pair programming.
- Identify, analyse and support the resolution of software defects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing standards and automation practices.
- Mentor junior Quality Engineers and share knowledge across the team.
