Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Oracle database and data warehouse migrations to cloud environments.
- Proven experience delivering secure cloud solutions within regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data integration, ETL processes, and migration dependencies (Informatica, Oracle GoldenGate).
- Experience assessing legacy systems and leading remediation efforts.
- Knowledge of data warehouse performance optimization and reporting environments (OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong architecture governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust clearance (Tier 2, Moderate Risk).
- Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to customer locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture planning and implementation for the migration of enterprise Oracle database and data warehouse environments to a secure cloud platform.
- Conduct legacy environment assessments covering databases, infrastructure, integrations, security, and operations.
- Define and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including security controls, networking, and identity management.
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP-aligned controls and audit readiness.
- Coordinate preservation and validation of ETL workflows, including Informatica and Oracle GoldenGate.
- Support performance optimization for BI platforms like OBIEE, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Drive migration cutover planning, rollback strategies, and post-migration stabilization.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and architectural decisions across teams.
