Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency with Java 1.8+, Spring Boot, and MySQL.
- Experience with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture.
- Understanding of DevOps CI/CD methodologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of software development best practices including SOLID, ACID, and OO design principles.
- Experience writing integration tests (e.g., Cucumber) and understanding BDD principles.
- Level of English from Upper-Intermediate and above.
- Nice to have: Front-end experience with React.
- Nice to have: Experience working within an Agile environment.
- Nice to have: Experience integrating with e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
- Nice to have: Experience with GoLang.
Responsibilities
- Act as a hands-on Java developer contributing to the design, build, testing, and rollout of new medical services at scale.
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing services to reflect clinical innovation, regulatory change, and new market demands.
- Develop within a microservices-based architecture using software design principles such as SOLID, ACID, and object-oriented design.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to balance commercial requirements with technical quality.
- Utilize cloud platforms like GCP to support clinical algorithms and improve patient outcomes.
- Negotiate practical trade-offs with delivery teams to ensure clear business value.
