Requirements
- Master's or PhD in astrophysics, astronomy, physics, or a highly related field.
- Expertise and specialization in a space science subdomain (e.g., galactic astronomy, stellar astrophysics, cosmology).
- Proficiency in reading and writing, both in informal and professional English.
- Strong ability to navigate information resources, databases, and online resources.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
- Strong reading comprehension skills.
- Capacity to exercise autonomous judgment with limited data.
- Strong passion for technological advancements and innovation.
- Advanced expertise (preferred: multiple publications or first-author papers).
- Experience in AI tutoring, teaching, or technical writing (preferred).
- Access to a Chromebook, Mac (MacOS 11.0+) or Windows (10+) device.
Responsibilities
- Use proprietary software applications to provide input/labels on defined projects.
- Support and ensure the delivery of high-quality curated data.
- Contribute to the training of new AI tasks in collaboration with technical staff.
- Provide feedback to technical staff to help improve the design of annotation tools.
- Select complex problems from advanced space science fields to drive model performance and scientific discovery.
- Provide detailed solutions and evaluate AI model responses within area of specialization.
- Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on evolving instructions.
