  • Expertise and specialization in a space science subdomain (e.g., galactic astronomy, stellar astrophysics, cosmology).
  • Proficiency in reading and writing, both in informal and professional English.
  • Strong ability to navigate information resources, databases, and online resources.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong reading comprehension skills.
  • Capacity to exercise autonomous judgment with limited data.
  • Strong passion for technological advancements and innovation.
  • Advanced expertise (preferred: multiple publications or first-author papers).
  • Experience in AI tutoring, teaching, or technical writing (preferred).
  • Access to a Chromebook, Mac (MacOS 11.0+) or Windows (10+) device.

Responsibilities

  • Use proprietary software applications to provide input/labels on defined projects.
  • Support and ensure the delivery of high-quality curated data.
  • Contribute to the training of new AI tasks in collaboration with technical staff.
  • Provide feedback to technical staff to help improve the design of annotation tools.
  • Select complex problems from advanced space science fields to drive model performance and scientific discovery.
  • Provide detailed solutions and evaluate AI model responses within area of specialization.
  • Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on evolving instructions.
