Requirements
- 12+ years of experience designing and building distributed systems, platform infrastructure, or large-scale enterprise applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java or comparable object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP, including Kubernetes platforms (EKS/GKE), serverless services, and managed cloud solutions.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure and platform technologies, including Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow, Ray, FastAPI, and gRPC.
- Extensive experience with messaging systems and distributed data architectures, including Kafka, Kinesis, Redis, and fault-tolerant system design.
- Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, query optimization, and large-scale data processing.
- Advanced knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and influence engineering strategy at an organizational level.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and building AI-driven enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale distributed systems and revenue intelligence platforms.
- Define long-term technical strategy and make critical architecture decisions across multiple engineering teams.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to conceptualize and build innovative features and platform capabilities.
- Drive engineering excellence by improving system reliability, observability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues across services and infrastructure layers.
- Design future-proof APIs and interfaces that support evolving business and customer requirements.
- Mentor and coach Staff and Senior Engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices across the organization.
- Champion performance optimization initiatives, including latency reduction, cost efficiency, and high-throughput system scaling.
