Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • Strong understanding of security control technologies: Firewalls, DLP, AV, EDR, WAF, and Email Security.
  • Experience in cybersecurity troubleshooting, specifically with Log Management, SIEM, EDR, and XDR platforms.
  • Ability to optimize queries using industry best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux System Administration.
  • Understanding of management, operation, and risks for Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Expert technical knowledge and troubleshooting experience in TCP/IP networking.
  • Familiarity with protocol analysis using tools like Wireshark.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues with minimal supervision.
  • Research and identify product improvements based on deep platform knowledge.
  • Take ownership of technical issues and drive them to resolution.
  • Develop and validate creative solutions in a lab environment.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Management to align product implementation with customer needs.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing through documentation, training, and mentoring.
  • Manage operational aspects and serve as a gate point for new software releases.
  • Identify patterns in field issues and lead documentation and reporting efforts.
  • Guide customers through the Picus software onboarding process.
  • Assess cybersecurity technology responses (Firewall, IPS, WAF, EDR, SIEM) using Picus products.
