Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
- Strong understanding of security control technologies: Firewalls, DLP, AV, EDR, WAF, and Email Security.
- Experience in cybersecurity troubleshooting, specifically with Log Management, SIEM, EDR, and XDR platforms.
- Ability to optimize queries using industry best practices.
- Basic knowledge of Linux System Administration.
- Understanding of management, operation, and risks for Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Expert technical knowledge and troubleshooting experience in TCP/IP networking.
- Familiarity with protocol analysis using tools like Wireshark.
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client-facing communication.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues with minimal supervision.
- Research and identify product improvements based on deep platform knowledge.
- Take ownership of technical issues and drive them to resolution.
- Develop and validate creative solutions in a lab environment.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Management to align product implementation with customer needs.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing through documentation, training, and mentoring.
- Manage operational aspects and serve as a gate point for new software releases.
- Identify patterns in field issues and lead documentation and reporting efforts.
- Guide customers through the Picus software onboarding process.
- Assess cybersecurity technology responses (Firewall, IPS, WAF, EDR, SIEM) using Picus products.
