Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications, APIs, admin platforms, and mobile applications.
- Strong experience designing, documenting, and maintaining regression test plans and structured test cases.
- Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman and/or Swagger.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and test data preparation.
- Experience testing mobile applications across iOS and Android environments using tools such as TestFlight, Google Play Internal Testing, or device testing platforms.
- Familiarity with browser compatibility testing, responsive testing, and cross-device validation.
- Experience with bug tracking and collaboration tools such as GitLab, JIRA, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of basic security testing concepts, including OWASP testing practices.
- Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools such as Firebase, Crashlytics, GA4, and user behavior platforms.
- Comfortable using AI assistants and emerging AI tools to improve QA processes and daily productivity.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work with a dedicated workstation, reliable internet connection, backup connectivity, and appropriate equipment for remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, regression suites, and test cases for web platforms, admin tools, APIs, and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, usability, regression, and exploratory testing across different browsers, devices, and operating systems.
- Validate API functionality using tools such as Postman and investigate backend issues through database queries and technical analysis.
- Test new features, hotfixes, payments, subscriptions, and production releases to ensure smooth user experiences.
- Monitor, reproduce, and document defects while maintaining clear communication with engineering and product stakeholders.
- Act as a quality gatekeeper by reviewing releases, identifying risks, and ensuring critical workflows remain stable.
- Analyze application performance and user behavior using tools such as Firebase, Crashlytics, GA4, and similar analytics platforms.
- Support security testing activities using established testing frameworks and best practices.
- Use AI tools to improve QA workflows, including test case generation, bug reporting, exploratory testing, and productivity improvements.
- Identify opportunities to introduce lightweight automation and improve testing efficiency over time.
