Requirements
- Proven experience designing and delivering robust, distributed, and mission-critical systems in production.
- Expertise in asynchronous processing and message-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ).
- Deep technical fluency in system design, performance tuning, and concurrency.
- Strong coding skills in modern languages like Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data synchronization mechanisms.
- Mastery of CI/CD, test automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with secure coding practices and system resilience.
- Strong observability mindset including metrics, logging, tracing, and root cause analysis.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Leadership experience guiding architectural decisions across multiple teams.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design distributed, stateless, and scalable systems resilient to failure.
- Contribute to the codebase, prototype, implement, and review critical features.
- Leverage asynchronous architectures and message-driven patterns to improve system performance.
- Define and implement patterns for data consistency and reliable state transitions.
- Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence across teams.
- Promote best practices in testing, observability, and secure software development.
- Drive modernization strategies to reduce technical debt.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product to shape architectural vision.
