Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year or more customer service experience.
  • 1 year or more high volume call center experience (preferred).
  • 1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits experience (preferred).
  • 1 year or more patient billing experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications.
  • Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office or private insurance carriers.
  • Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances.
  • Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone.
  • Maintain performance goals.
  • Become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program.
