Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 year or more customer service experience.
- 1 year or more high volume call center experience (preferred).
- 1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits experience (preferred).
- 1 year or more patient billing experience (preferred).
- Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications.
- Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office or private insurance carriers.
- Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances.
- Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone.
- Maintain performance goals.
- Become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program.
