Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 or more years of technical experience in data analysis, report design, and development.
- In-depth experience with Power BI.
- High-level skills in SQL authoring and analysis.
- Experience with advanced functions in Excel.
- Experience working with large, complex data sets.
- Experience analyzing data to solve diverse business problems.
- Experience creating data visualizations that drive strategic direction.
- Comfort presenting to senior and executive leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in written and oral forms.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement Power BI reports and semantic models in a star schema fashion.
- Author SQL queries to support Power BI modeling and audit results for accuracy.
- Create visualizations and reports based on UX designer mockups or verbal descriptions.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand problems and develop technical solutions.
- Evaluate and improve existing BI dashboards and solutions.
- Collaborate with teammates to apply reporting best practices, with a focus on cloud platforms.
- Document deployed solutions and share technical knowledge with the team.
- Ensure the highest quality of data through testing and stakeholder sign-off prior to deployment.
