Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building highly distributed microservice architecture using Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, and Gradle.
- Strong OOP skills, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with complex projects in public cloud environments, ideally AWS.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar.
- Expertise in creating and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Expertise with test-driven development including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Experience developing and working with HTTP APIs (REST or GraphQL).
- Strong English language communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools for pair programming, debugging, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Create prototypes and software design proposals that align with product and architecture vision.
- Break down large initiatives into parallelizable chunks of work.
- Champion proposals through all phases of the Agile SDLC.
- Improve core product build, CI/CD pipelines, and overall SDLC.
- Define and oversee the execution of the product architecture roadmap with architects.
- Troubleshoot and eliminate root causes for production issues.
- Facilitate design discussions within and outside the squad.
- Provide mentorship through design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows to accelerate delivery.
