Requirements

  • 10+ years of editorial and writing experience within a recognized media, publishing, or journalism organization.
  • Strong editorial judgment and proven ability to build credibility with sophisticated audiences.
  • Deep passion for travel and experience creating content that inspires exploration and decision-making.
  • Experience developing newsletter products, including content hierarchy, layouts, pacing, and optimization.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to research, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources efficiently.
  • Experience managing publisher relationships, content partnerships, or syndication programs.
  • Strong understanding of analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing methodologies to improve performance.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Power BI, CRM platforms, project management tools, and content technologies.
  • Experience using AI tools, Asana, and HubSpot is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar and publishing cadence for travel newsletters and digital content channels.
  • Curate and synthesize insights from leading travel trade and consumer publications into engaging, relevant editorial briefings.
  • Write original editorial perspectives that add expert analysis and a distinctive point of view to curated travel stories.
  • Design and optimize newsletter formats, templates, and content structures, including breaking news, destination updates, product highlights, and partner features.
  • Build relationships with travel publications and manage content-sharing or syndication partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain editorial standards, tone, and guidelines that reinforce credibility and audience trust.
  • Ensure editorial independence by maintaining a clear separation between content judgment and commercial priorities.
  • Collaborate with destination experts and internal teams to incorporate unique insights and perspectives.
  • Lead A/B testing initiatives to identify the most effective content formats, topics, and engagement strategies.
  • Monitor audience behavior, analyze performance metrics, and provide recommendations to improve engagement, leads, and business impact.
  • Present editorial performance insights and optimization opportunities to leadership teams.
