Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including Flask and SQLAlchemy.
- Exposure to TypeScript and React.
- Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge, including complex queries, indexing, and optimization.
- Experience designing microservices architectures, distributed systems, and API-driven applications.
- Proven ability to build and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong understanding of Linux environments, Git workflows, and testing methodologies.
- Experience improving system scalability, monitoring, and observability in production.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with API integrations and client-facing technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and deployment of enterprise-grade backend solutions from architecture through production.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and integration services to enable seamless interoperability.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to gather requirements and define solutions.
- Develop cloud-native applications using Python, Flask, AWS Lambda, ECS, and API Gateway.
- Architect scalable, high-volume transaction systems while maintaining performance and availability.
- Establish best practices for API design, security, observability, and testing.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor teammates to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Represent engineering capabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
