Requirements
- 8+ years of backend software development experience.
- Strong professional experience with Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar).
- Strong professional experience with Java, preferably using Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development workflows.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Python, SpringBoot, FastAPI, Postgres, and Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Operations, and Sales to build reliable products.
- Make pragmatic architectural decisions regarding legacy monolith refactoring and domain boundaries.
- Promote modern engineering practices including TDD, continuous delivery, SRE culture, and API-first design.
- Mentor less senior engineers through code reviews, leading learning sessions, and modeling high-quality code.
