Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams, ideally on internal platforms, billing systems, or ERP-adjacent products.
- Experience with at least one ERP buildout, such as NetSuite, SAP, Workday Financials, or a homegrown equivalent.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and translate vague mandates into concrete quarterly deliverables.
- Strong cross-organization collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively with Finance.
- Proven track record in hiring and growing engineers within domain-heavy, cross-functional environments.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to balance rapid delivery with long-term data model quality.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap for the evolution of internal systems toward ERP patterns including product catalog, chart of accounts, and revenue recognition.
- Build and lead a high-leverage team consisting of a project manager and engineers embedded with the Data/Finance/Analytics organization.
- Define and enforce data contracts between internal platforms and downstream stakeholders.
- Translate finance-domain requirements into technical engineering solutions.
- Establish engineering standards, code review practices, and architectural decision records.
- Drive quarterly planning and prioritization in partnership with Finance and Data leadership.
- Hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of domain and integration engineers.
