Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript technologies including React, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design principles.
- Experience building scalable web applications and customer-focused digital products.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (GCP or Azure also considered).
- Experience collaborating with product teams and contributing to product design decisions.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve technical challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous, and highly collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product management, operations, sales, and marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective platform solutions.
- Design, prototype, develop, test, deploy, and maintain fullstack applications and features throughout the product lifecycle.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable end-to-end code following engineering best practices.
- Take ownership of assigned projects by deeply understanding technical requirements, architecture decisions, and business impact.
- Perform comprehensive testing and quality checks before submitting code for review and deployment.
- Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering process improvements.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and help shape the future technical direction of the platform.
- Mentor and support other engineers as the team continues to grow.
- Manage priorities independently in an asynchronous remote environment while maintaining strong communication and accountability.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies to improve platform capabilities and engineering efficiency.
