Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Proven track record developing highly available distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes resource management, Helm charts, and operator patterns.
- Experience with AWS and MySQL.
- Strong understanding of security workloads, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience defining technical plans for significant features or components with extensible designs.
- Proficiency in making significant changes in a large code base safely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team by guiding engineers through ambiguity.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics stakeholders in the product development lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and lead the resolution of project, process, technology, or business issues.
- Support the operations and availability of team artifacts through metrics, monitoring, and on-call efforts.
- Set and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality and ownership.
- Develop team talent through mentorship, feedback, and technical leadership.
