Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience preferred; other relevant sales experience considered.
  • Specialty sales experience in cardiometabolic areas preferred.
  • Prior product launch experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and building strong customer relationships.
  • Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate complex scientific information.
  • Excellent territory planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the disease state, clinical data, and relevant treatment guidelines.
  • Build and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and sales objectives.
  • Drive product adoption and compliant utilization among targeted healthcare providers.
  • Analyze territory trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and course correct as needed.
  • Execute strategic call plans by translating data and insights into impactful, customer-focused actions.
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, and key decision-makers.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Field Reimbursement Managers and Regional Business Directors.
  • Operate with the highest standards of integrity and compliance with all industry regulations.
