- Experience
- Bachelor's degree or eight (8) years of relevant work experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a relevant discipline.
- Eight years of relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Significant, direct experience in Dell EMC products (OneFS, MDS SAN switches).
- Direct experience with Dell EMC storage arrays (Unity, Isilon, VNX, Data Domain).
- Experience with Dell EMC RecoverPoint.
- Professional experience with private cloud environments.
- Experience with Gov Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) and hybrid cloud architectures preferred.
- Capability to manage infrastructure to ensure 24/7/365 uptime.
- Ability to develop technical documentation, roadmaps, and cost models.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement full-scale SAN architecture for complex, geographically dispersed EMC-based infrastructure.
- Define strategic direction for SAN and backup environments including capacity planning and utilization reporting.
- Design and deploy enterprise storage solutions for customer requirements.
- Produce standards and implementation processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex SAN infrastructure issues for internal and external customers.
- Architect and maintain private cloud environments with exposure to Gov Cloud architectures.
- Perform security-related tasks including vulnerability scans, patch management, and audits.
