Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in enterprise ecommerce.
- 5+ years leading engineering teams, managers, or technical organizations.
- Demonstrated success delivering customer-facing ecommerce platforms and digital commerce solutions.
- Strong understanding of modern ecommerce architectures including headless or composable commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, APIs, and microservices.
- Expertise in integrating ecommerce platforms with CRM, OMS, payment, and merchandising systems.
- Proven experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, software quality, and observability best practices.
- Experience applying AI-enabled engineering tools and automation to software delivery.
- Strong ability to manage technology vendors, budgets, and consulting partners.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, coach, and retain a high-performing engineering organization through hiring, mentoring, and career development.
- Own the delivery of the ecommerce engineering roadmap and ensure predictable execution of strategic initiatives and releases.
- Lead the modernization of the commerce ecosystem, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, composable commerce, APIs, and cloud services.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business strategy into technology execution for marketing, merchandising, and operations.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and AI-enabled engineering tools to improve software delivery and productivity.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, platform contracts, and technology investment budgets.
