Requirements
- Automation-first mindset with experience designing self-running systems.
- Strong Git discipline including versioning, reviewing, and testing code.
- High agency, outcome-oriented approach to tasks.
- System design thinking with the ability to articulate architectural trade-offs.
- Practical experience with Terraform and AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Experience with container orchestration (ArgoCD, Helm).
- Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Makefiles, Ansible).
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch).
- Understanding of databases and messaging systems (PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS).
Responsibilities
- Standardize deployments to repeatable one-button workflows.
- Support developers by designing smooth SDLC paths, CI/CD pipelines, and local-dev tooling.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform on AWS with rigorous versioning and review.
- Manage SDLC toolchains including GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, and Harbor.
- Shape networking and service mesh patterns for connectivity, including for air-gapped systems.
- Implement security measures such as secrets management, RBAC, and compliance automation.
- Define observability standards to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Partner with engineering teams to define and execute release strategies.
