Requirements
- Degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics or equivalent.
- Strong background in system administration and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn new approaches and technologies.
- Experience with Azure cloud services (nice to have).
- Experience with Databricks and Spark (nice to have).
- Experience with administration of large clusters (nice to have).
- Experience with containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, automate, test, support and administer Enterprise Infrastructure for Big Data and Fast Data processing.
- Establish enterprise-scale data integration procedures and ensure team adherence.
- Bring multiple data sources together in a conformed model for analysis.
- Design and maintain metadata repositories and data models.
- Manage resources to ensure effective enterprise-level data services.
- Identify and adopt innovative data tools and techniques.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve problems and implement preventative measures.
