Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer, with a strong focus on test automation frameworks and implementation.
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing automation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, especially Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong knowledge of black-box testing methodologies and advanced test design techniques.
- Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, including experience with component testing approaches.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, Karate, SoapUI, or similar solutions.
- Good understanding of SQL and data-driven testing practices.
- Experience with performance testing tools is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Docker is a plus.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Based in Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA team members to transform requirements into comprehensive black-box test strategies.
- Design and execute advanced test cases using techniques such as equivalence partitioning, state transition testing, and combinatorial testing.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using modern tools such as Playwright and Cypress.
- Create efficient test processes that improve coverage, reliability, and release confidence.
- Perform functional, regression, API, and performance testing to ensure software quality across different environments.
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects while working closely with development teams to validate solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to testing methodologies and workflows.
