Requirements
- Solid experience with Java for test automation development and execution.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for validating event-driven and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with API testing tools, especially Rest Assured for RESTful services.
- Experience with Cypress or Selenium for UI and end-to-end automation testing.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
- Experience working with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP services, including validation and consumption.
- Knowledge of test automation architecture, scalable test design, and software engineering best practices.
- Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test automation strategies across web, API, and integration layers in a financial systems context.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Build and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured.
- Validate event-driven architectures using Kafka, ensuring correct message flow across distributed systems.
- Implement UI and end-to-end test automation using Cypress or Selenium, covering critical business journeys.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, integrating automated tests and improving delivery efficiency.
- Define and apply testing best practices, including unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
- Contribute to system design discussions to ensure testability and quality are embedded from the architecture stage.
