Requirements
- 8–15 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, architecture, and infrastructure delivery.
- Extensive expertise designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise routing and switching environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus platforms.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise infrastructure deployments, migrations, modernization projects, and complex technical implementations.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols, switching technologies, network performance optimization, and capacity planning.
- Experience supporting enterprise wireless networking solutions and integrating networking with security technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with experience handling critical incidents and operational challenges.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions, including Aruba EdgeConnect, Cisco SD-WAN, or Meraki SD-WAN.
- Experience with modern data center architectures such as VXLAN EVPN and Spine-Leaf designs.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking solutions, including AWS and Azure connectivity services.
- Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, REST APIs.
- Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, Aruba certifications, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet certifications, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, or Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise routing and switching architectures across campus, branch, headquarters, and data center environments.
- Develop scalable Layer 2 and Layer 3 network solutions focused on high availability, resiliency, performance, and business continuity.
- Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, including network refreshes, migrations, consolidations, and technology upgrades.
- Deploy and support advanced routing technologies such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, route redistribution, and policy-based routing.
- Configure and troubleshoot switching technologies including VLANs, STP, RSTP, MST, EtherChannel, LACP, HSRP, VRRP, and multicast.
- Design and support modern data center networking solutions using platforms such as Cisco Nexus, VXLAN EVPN fabrics, Spine-Leaf architectures, and Data Center Interconnect technologies.
- Implement and optimize enterprise WAN solutions, including SD-WAN, MPLS, DIA, Internet, and hybrid WAN architectures.
- Collaborate with security teams to integrate secure networking practices, including segmentation, VPN, NAC, Zero Trust initiatives, and security technology platforms.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical incidents, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Lead customer workshops, architecture reviews, technical discussions, and planning sessions.
