Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional ABAP development experience.
- Hands-on experience with modern ABAP technologies (RAP, CDS Views, AMDP).
- Experience working on at least one production SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- Hands-on experience implementing RAP-based OData services.
- Strong experience developing CDS Views (analytical, consumption, interface).
- Practical experience developing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
- Good understanding of SAP MM and/or SD business processes.
- Ability to review, refactor, and optimise existing ABAP custom code.
- Business-level English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ABAP applications within an SAP S/4HANA Retail environment.
- Implement RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) solutions and OData services.
- Develop and optimise Core Data Services (CDS) Views across analytical, consumption and interface layers.
- Develop and optimise performance-critical ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
- Review, maintain, refactor and improve the existing ABAP custom codebase.
- Ensure development quality, maintainability and adherence to technical standards.
- Produce technical documentation and solution designs for new features and enhancements.
- Work closely with SAP functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide knowledge transfer, technical guidance and mentoring to internal development teams.
