Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years of customer service experience in related fields.
- Alternatively: Two years of college coursework or three years of work experience in customer service.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
- Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems simultaneously during live support.
- Ability to defuse conflict with empathy and respect.
- Demonstrated ability to accept constructive feedback and adapt work practices.
- Ability to work a consistent, full-time schedule (40 hours per week).
- Must be able to attend twelve weeks of paid virtual training with 100% attendance.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound phone-based customer service interactions.
- Provide first call or email resolution and educate callers on relevant information.
- Resolve and document issues accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine research to provide claims status and address member or provider inquiries.
- Follow up on pended items and route paperwork to appropriate departments.
- Handle sensitive information while strictly adhering to PPI and HIPAA requirements.
