Requirements
- Several years of experience developing AI-supported applications with a focus on NLP and generative AI.
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing complex AI systems.
- Proven experience with agentic systems and workflows (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, PydanticAI).
- Experience with semantic search, clustering, RAG, and classical machine learning.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and LLM evaluation.
- Excellent Python skills and experience integrating AI features into production backends with testing.
- Experience with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases (e.g., Postgres, ElasticSearch).
- Experience with ORM systems like SQLAlchemy.
- Prior experience in technical leadership or mentoring with a goal of pursuing disciplinary leadership.
- Fluency in German (minimum C1 level).
- High level of personal responsibility, strategic thinking, and ability to work interdisciplinarily.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, AI-supported features from conception to production.
- Implement NLP workflows using libraries like spaCy, Hugging Face, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Build complex agentic architectures and autonomous AI workflows.
- Optimize semantic search, RAG, clustering, and knowledge graph implementations.
- Integrate AI features into Python backends using FastAPI, socketio, and RabbitMQ.
- Transition into a leadership role, managing two direct reports and fostering team development.
- Establish technical standards and architecture decisions within the AI team.
