Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- 3 or more years of residential mortgage banking and closing experience (Required).
- In-depth knowledge of conventional and government mortgage closing procedures.
- Understanding of TRID compliance requirements.
- Ability to organize and verify complex legal documentation.
- Experience in mentoring junior staff and resolving escalated issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and organize legal documents for residential mortgage loan and product settlements.
- Verify that conditions such as title binders, fees, and insurance policies are met and within investor guidelines.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, attorneys, and title companies.
- Ensure adherence to all conventional and government mortgage closing procedures and regulations, including TRID.
- Lead, train, and mentor junior staff.
- Resolve escalated issues and assist in process improvements.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
