Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a college or university degree program (recent grads may be considered).
- Major in Communications, Political Science, Government, or Policy preferred.
- Access to reliable internet.
- Working laptop or desktop computer.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Meet).
- Ability to manage time effectively without procrastination.
- Availability to work around 20 hours per week during 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern time.
- Teachable and can-do attitude.
- Passion for Independent Women's mission and policy stances.
- Local to Washington, DC (required only for External Relations department).
Responsibilities
- Provide critical support to assigned departments.
- Oversee regular departmental tasks.
- Start drafts of needed outputs for team projects.
- Engage heavily with departmental initiatives.
- Participate in training and professional development.
