Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Node.js and/or NestJS.
- 3+ years of experience with Angular and 1.5 years with React.
- 3+ years of experience with Docker and/or Docker Compose.
- 4+ years of experience with REST API design.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- 2+ years of experience with Swagger and/or API documentation.
- 1+ year of working experience with AI tools such as Claude, MCP, or LLM APIs.
- Mid to Senior level engineering experience.
- 4–6 years minimum professional experience, with 8+ years ideal.
- Ability to independently design and document APIs.
- Ability to work in a mostly independent way while collaborating with an existing team.
- Ability to follow established patterns in an existing codebase and deployment pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance a live, feature-complete production platform.
- Build new features across the backend and frontend.
- Deliver incremental backend API improvements.
- Support the Studio product in production.
- Independently design and document APIs.
- Follow existing codebase patterns and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate within an existing engineering team while self-managing day to day.
- Support containerised services deployed through the existing cloud deployment setup.
- Use AI-assisted development tools comfortably as part of the engineering workflow.
