Requirements
- Proven experience shipping systems where AI (Claude, OpenAI, or open-source models) is a core functional product component.
- Solid background in large-scale web application architecture.
- Experience working within real production constraints.
- Experience with Python is highly preferred.
- Strong architectural judgment and ability to make independent system design decisions.
- Comfortable owning the full development lifecycle, including scoping, prioritizing, and measuring success metrics.
- Product-oriented mindset with the ability to define priorities without a dedicated Product Manager.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship production-grade backend services that integrate AI models like Claude or OpenAI into compliance workflows.
- Handle model behavior, prompting, and output parsing within a regulated industry context.
- Co-own service architecture, reliability, and scalability end-to-end.
- Translate compliance agent workflows into automated software, including EDD and customer onboarding acceleration.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking production impact, managing regressions, and conducting post-mortems.
- Lead design discussions and contribute to the technical evolution of the platform.
