Requirements
- Master's degree in Economics, Health Economics, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Statistics, or related quantitative field (PhD preferred).
- 3+ years of experience conducting research with real-world healthcare data at a population level.
- Demonstrated experience researching medication adherence across commercial, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid Managed Care populations.
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL, R, and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong applied statistics skills including multivariable modeling and feature/variable selection.
- Working knowledge of causal inference for observational data and quasi-experimental methods like matching and difference-in-differences.
- Ability to independently prioritize multiple projects and solve problems under deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct studies on medication adherence drivers using pharmacy, medical claims, and supplemental data.
- Fit and interpret multivariable statistical models to identify and explain significant factors affecting adherence.
- Quantify, size, and rank intervention opportunities to inform clinical task prioritization.
- Evaluate program and intervention impact using quasi-experimental and descriptive approaches like difference-in-differences.
- Validate and analyze claims, enrollment, and supplemental datasets, ensuring high data quality.
- Translate research findings into clear, client-facing executive deliverables and reports.
- Present findings and analytical approaches to internal cross-functional teams and executives.
