Requirements
- 5+ years in a technology leadership role (CTO, VP Engineering, Director of IT, or equivalent).
- Experience in a client-facing or consulting capacity.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and workflows, specifically generative AI in professional services.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (M365/Google Workspace), practice management software, and integration tools.
- Ability to conduct credible technology and data infrastructure audits.
- Demonstrated experience writing structured deliverables.
- Familiarity with the legal technology landscape.
- Professional presence and strong communication skills for working with law firm leadership.
- Genuine intellectual curiosity about the legal industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage full engagement lifecycles.
- Commitment to contributing to team systems and playbooks.
- Availability during standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Phase 1 AI Readiness Assessments including technology audits, data infrastructure mapping, and compliance reviews.
- Deliver AI coaching sessions and provide ongoing on-call advisory services for retainer clients.
- Maintain monthly client check-ins, dashboard updates, and oversee AI tool adoption.
- Coordinate with sales teams on pre-sales scoping and proposal support.
- Monitor the legal AI tool landscape and update internal recommended technology stacks.
- Document client-facing work and contribute to shared templates and practice playbooks.
- Escalate delivery risks or scope changes to the CTO.
