Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence roles.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with dbt or equivalent data transformation tools.
- Strong expertise in SQL and dimensional data modeling.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift.
- Proven track record of building reliable and scalable data models.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, production-ready data solutions.
- Familiarity with data governance, testing frameworks, and building trusted data assets.
- Bonus: Experience with Python for data workflows.
- Bonus: Experience with semantic layer design or AI/ML-ready data products and streaming/CDC systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable dimensional data models and data marts using dbt.
- Develop and maintain a centralized semantic and metrics layer for consistent business KPIs.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, production-grade datasets.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust, well-structured data models and transformation logic.
- Support the integration of third-party data sources to enrich the analytics ecosystem.
- Enforce data governance standards through testing frameworks, data lineage, and quality monitoring.
- Act as a technical reviewer and mentor to junior team members.
