Job Details

Proven experience managing high-performing engineering teams with the ability to provide technical guidance and architectural leadership.
Strong background in distributed systems, workflow execution, state management, and scalable software architecture.
Experience building or leading teams focused on release automation, deployment platforms, continuous delivery, or developer infrastructure.
Familiarity with Kubernetes deployment patterns, GitOps practices, and progressive delivery strategies such as blue/green and canary deployments.
Experience designing reliable enterprise systems using policy-based governance and event-driven architectures.
Demonstrated ability to build teams from early stages, including hiring, defining processes, and establishing engineering culture.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to drive decisions across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience working in async-first, remote environments.
Experience leading teams in globally distributed organizations with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Ability to foster inclusive team environments where engineers feel empowered to contribute and innovate.

Build and lead a new engineering team, creating an environment where engineers can deliver high-quality work and grow professionally.
Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop engineers while establishing strong team processes and a culture of ownership.
Partner with product management and cross-functional engineering teams to define priorities, influence architecture, and deliver product commitments.
Provide technical leadership on distributed systems, workflow orchestration, deployment automation, and platform reliability.
Drive engineering excellence across scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and operational reliability.
Encourage the effective use of AI-powered tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity and innovation.
Establish healthy delivery practices by tracking milestones, identifying blockers, and proactively improving execution processes.
Support incident management activities and contribute to maintaining platform availability and reliability.
Promote inclusive collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within a remote-first engineering environment.
