- Experience
- 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- MRI certification and registration.
- Valid ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
- Valid Hands On CPR certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty preferred.
- Competency in performing general and advanced imaging procedures.
- Knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging procedures and technology.
- Ability to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Good manual dexterity and visual/auditory acuity.
Responsibilities
- Operate ROCC Magnetic Resonance operations for assigned regions.
- Perform general and advanced level imaging procedures.
- Support onsite positioning technologists with technical aspects of MRI.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware.
- Maintain study documentation and complete QA/QC checklists.
- Assist with MR safety screening and protocol manipulation for implants.
- Transfer images from disk to PACS stations.
- Monitor and correct assigned NTTs.
