Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • MRI certification and registration.
  • Valid ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
  • Valid Hands On CPR certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty preferred.
  • Competency in performing general and advanced imaging procedures.
  • Knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging procedures and technology.
  • Ability to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Good manual dexterity and visual/auditory acuity.

Responsibilities

  • Operate ROCC Magnetic Resonance operations for assigned regions.
  • Perform general and advanced level imaging procedures.
  • Support onsite positioning technologists with technical aspects of MRI.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware.
  • Maintain study documentation and complete QA/QC checklists.
  • Assist with MR safety screening and protocol manipulation for implants.
  • Transfer images from disk to PACS stations.
  • Monitor and correct assigned NTTs.
