Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in software development within SaaS industry.
- AWS data services experience.
- Strong SQL skills at scale with columnar/analytical query engines (Redshift, BigQuery, or equivalent).
- Data warehouse design and ETL/ELT pipeline architecture.
- Experience with data lake patterns.
- Familiarity with streaming or near-real-time data patterns (Kafka, Kinesis, or similar).
- Demonstrated ownership of data quality, governance, and schema management.
- Proven capabilities in building and retaining engaged, high-performing software development teams.
- Experience managing the entire software development lifecycle of SaaS applications at scale.
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.).
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
- Must be able to work US Eastern Time core business hours.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple software engineering teams, ensuring they are working efficiently and are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to engineering managers and senior engineers.
- Lead efforts to recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent to build high-performing, diverse teams.
- Foster an environment of pride, ownership, and an inclusive engineering culture.
- Develop and communicate long-term technical vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with product management to develop and prioritize the engineering roadmap.
- Plan and manage the engineering budget effectively.
- Assure adherence to software development processes including Scrum, automated testing, and service-oriented architecture.
- Oversee the design and development of advanced software solutions scaling across hundreds of servers.
- Interface with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to provide technical insight.
